When, how, and why joined Israel Hour: Summer of 1993; visited the WRSU studios upon Hezi's invitation and was overcome with the desire to DJ, especially with an Israeli theme; joined because it is fun and I learn a lot constantly, as well as enjoying interacting with the public.
Favorite Israeli song/artiste/type of music:
Tough but will choose one of my favorite songs--
"Noah" by Matti Caspi; Matti Caspi, Danny Sanderson, ...; Brazilian and 70's-80's
rock.
Favorite segment of Israel Hour: Playing music, discussing song backgrounds and taking requests for dedications. Also, the news, because I get to convey to a community of listeners that there is a an entire gamut of daily critical information about Israel that is simply overlooked by our media here in the US.
Favorite part of hosting the Israel Hour: Knowing that I can provide to many listeners what I myself hungered for until I heard about the show.
Favorite quote: "Success"/Ralph Waldo Emerson
Other hobbies: Climbing, weight-lifting, languages, music/guitar-playing, line-dancing (country music).
