Israel Hosts Eurovision '99: May 29, 1999

UPDATE: May 30, 1999--Sweeden wins the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Take Me To Your Heaven" performed by Charlotte Nilsson, scoring 163 points (Full Story...).  Israel's "Happy Birthday" (performed by Eden) finished in fifth place with 93 points.

Thanks to Dana International's exciting victory for Israel during last year's Eurovision Song Contest, this year's contest will take place on May 29th, 1999, in Jerusalem, Israel.

The performers have arrived, the tension is mounting, and the world is getting ready for Eurovision '99!  Now you can be a part of it!
